On February 23, 2014, The TC Walker-Woodville/Rosenwald School Foundation will hold it’s very first “Rosenwald Alumni Legacy Tea”, in honor of students of Bena-Hayes, Bethel, James Store, Purton, Training School, and Woodville Rosenwald Schools. Ms. Kay Coles James, President and Founder of The Gloucester Institute, and member of the Foundation, has graciously offered the Institute as the event venue.  It will take place from 2:30 to 4:30, in the afternoon, at The Gloucester Institute, 6496 Almondsville Road, Gloucester, Virginia 23061. All former students, their guests, family, friends, and the community at-large are invited to attend  this “Celebration of the African American Educational Experience”.
