Eat Okra! Good for you and Good for the Woodville School
Board Member Brent Heath, an enthusiastic supporter of the Woodville Rosenwald School and an expert gardener, has combined the two interests to harvest some funds for Woodville.

Brent is growing ten different varieties of okra in his garden this season! Packages of assorted varieties are available for sale in the gift shop at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs.

A donation of $3.00 to the Woodville School will buy a generous bag full of okra that can be roasted, toasted, fried–or enjoy it (like Brent) as a tasty raw vegetable. Brent and Becky’s Bulbs is located at 7900 Daffodil Lane, Gloucester, VA 23061.
Brent and his wife, Becky, are best known as daffodil growers and partners in one of Gloucester County’s most successful businesses. Their catalogs display unique collections of all types of bulbs. In addition to okra and flower bulbs, Brent is an avid collector and curator of beautiful specimens of seashells and salvaged wood. With the help of Brent’s creative brainstorming, plans are underway to bring his collections together with volunteer crafters for future fundraisers to benefit the Woodville Rosenwald School.
